Grooming equipment has been out in a few areas to pack the small amounts of snow we have been getting. Trails are ver icey with thin snow cover at this time. Early season conditions exist at this time. We recommend checking with clubs to get the most detailed trail reports. Obey signage and stay on marked trails. Ride with caution and please stay off of all bodies of water!
Woodford Sno Busters
Trails will be open this weekend, however there is not much snow to be groomed. Trails on gravel roads will be your best bet. Trails in the woods will be very marginal. Ride with caution, early season conditions exist. This means exposed rocks, open water and other hazards at any time.
Corridor 7 will be closed between BN 45 and RD 82. This will sever the trail connection in the southern portion of the Green Mountain National Forest and all VAST Trails to the north. You will not be able to ride North from the Manchester area or South from the Mount Tabor area.
TRAILS ARE OPEN.
January 20, 2012:
Another inch of snow fell last night. Now there is some loose snow for lubrication and cooling. No grooming has been done yet so be aware of open water spots and rocks. Definitely not good conditions.
Trails That are Closed, due to Irene, for the Season are:
The north/south Corridor 7, Trail past Griffith Lake, will be CLOSED, from BN45 to RD82. You WILL NOT be able to get to Griffith Lake from any direction.
A bridge is out on C7A, between BN37 south to BN32 (at junction with C7). That trail is closed.
