Grooming equipment has been out in some areas packing what little snow their is trying to build a base. There is a little bit of riding out there but it is marginal like the snow cover. There is lots of ice, and other exposed hazards. Riding is not recommended at this time.

We are in the process of opening the gates. All should be done soon.
Trails are officially open but conditions are poor/fair.
Coverage is thin so the trails are boney and rough.
Conditions are as expected for early opening.
There is not enough coverage to groom at this time.
Not sure what tonight will bring. High winds forecasted
which can cause tree blow downs and poor visibility and
pretty good wind chills. We have already clocked 47 mph
winds at The Hut with -3 degree wind chill.
If you do go out, ride very cautiously.
